Xerox DocuPrint 180 refurbishing

(POMPANO BEACH, FL )— In the last 12 months Advantage-X has added over 4000 sq. ft. at headquarters including the recently completed demonstration room containing nearly $1,000,000 in printing equipment. To meet future sales projections Advantage-X is boosting equipment in the refurbishing pipeline, including the popular Xerox DocuPrint 4635 and the Xerox DP 180, the world's fastest cut sheet laser printer.

Like Xerox, Advantage-X acquires equipment coming off expiring leases among other sources, then strips the equipment down to the frame to begin the refurbishing process. While the refurbishing process and product guarantees are similar- restoring equipment to 'like new' condition- Advantage-X clients are guaranteed prices lower than even Xerox's best customers, typically national accounts and government agencies. With Xerox base retail prices for the 4635 and DP180 of approximately $375,000 and $475,000 respectively, the savings are significant. Customers are able to plow thousands of dollars saved back into other IT needs, enabling upgrades to both computer systems and printing systems simultaneously.

The DocuPrint 2000 series, retailing from about $275,000 to $575,000 are currently available by pre-order only.

Advantage-X competes directly with Xerox selling, leasing, and servicing the same high volume equipment models at a lower cost. "Customers won't switch vendors just for lower cost. We've proven over the years that our service team offers equal to or better than existing service from Xerox. An essential ingredient of our work force plan includes twice the number of their service technicians per machine, " said Jane Beekmann, President of Advantage-X.
