Used vs. Remanufactured

It's been a well-known industry secret for many years that copier/printer companies sell rebuilt machines as "new". This is confirmed by the fine print in the sales contract using some of these terms: refurbish, remanufacture, and recondition. Refurbished or Used are broader terms. In general it means that enough repairs are completed so the machine will work within allowable manufacturer tolerances. Read more about Xerox remanufacturing.

Remanufactured Xerox equipment is stripped to the frame and completely rebuilt to manufacturer specifications. Not too many companies bother. We do. We remanufacture your equipment using genuine Xerox parts so the equipment you receive is like new.

Why not buy a cheaper used machine and just put it on a service contract? When it comes to high volume equipment, most of our customers prefer maximum up time. A car with a 100,000 miles and a 10 point tune up does not run the same as a car with 100,000 miles and new tires, brake system, exhaust system, shocks, belts, etc. The same goes for printers. BUYERS- We sell only high volume Xerox printers, copiers, and duplicators. These machines usually run 200,000 per month or more. More information on low volume and desktop printers and copiers.

- We currently sell equipment in USA and South America only.

- Our equipment is remanufactured; every Xerox contract also includes language regarding remanufactured and or refurbished equipment and parts.

- We offer highlight color equipment only, such as the Xerox 4850. For full color, see our preferred partners.

- Sorry, we don't have any information on Xerox engineering equipment.

- We get our equipment from many of the same sources as Xerox, including equipment coming in off leases.

SELLERS- We buy only the equipment listed on this web page and newer models. To sell your equipment, please provide meter read, location, configuration, and whether the machine is currently on a service contract. The most common models we need are 4635's and DP180's. The need for other models fluctuates based on market demand.
